So off and on over the years I have kept up with these two soaps (& As the World Turns). I don’t see it for years and then suddenly will watch it for awhile. Off and on, like I said. Since I’ve had my DVR I record them all and watch them when I’m bored.
It’s nostalgic & I love how over the top and ridiculous soaps are.
All of this leads to today’s episode of The Bold & The Beautiful. I was sitting here taking chapter notes, as it’s playing in the background. I hear a familiar voice and look up to see MR. BELDING dressed in an exterminator’s jumpsuit. A big red “no” sign over the silhouette of a cockroach. I had heard on SA’s forums some time back that he was a big wash up & would show up drunk and hitting on young college girls. There are pictures of this somewhere on the internet but I’m too lazy to get them.
Now that he’s playing a fat, bald, drunk looking exterminator on a soap opera I think it’s safe to say Mr. Belding has hit rock bottom. I feel sorry for him, but am too amused to not be completely glad that I watch this stupid show in the first place just so I could experience him on it as a “guest star.” He’s not even playing a real character. He’s an exterminator that one of the characters hires. Oh the humanity!
