Ice cream & candy parlour. Always worth the hike up the hill

Went for a sunny Sunday at the beach w/the new roomie. Books & eats from The Tides. The waves were full and beautiful.

This is the face you make when you hold a minute long handstand on the beach. He was a gymnast, it’s apparent when this kind of thing happens with him.

Linnea kidnapped me for a 3 day trip of beaches and chocolate. Mendocino, Fort Bragg, and Glass Beach; Northern California is so pretty :3

Linnea gets me the best presents!
Super 8 Luxury

We noted that the pictures were the same on both sides of the bed

Linnea and her adorable fuzzy dress

This cup exploded all over my pants and shirt in the Super 8 lobby. Great job!
They’re all gonna laugh at you!

Linnea got a pretty hat for her pretty head!
From a recent trip with my good friend Linnea. She was married at the Mendocino Hotel and we got to go back and spend some time taking in the sights that she missed when she was in the middle of a hurricane of wedding madness. The hotel is gorgeous and makes “vintage” as apparent as possible with every nook and cranny and crawlspace they have.
The rooms have precious wallpaper and old fashioned sinks and mirrors. Wood detailing and oriental rugs cover almost every inch of the hotel which also has a fine dining area and bar. The food was amazing (will blog about that later on SugarlovesButter) and they even boast an on-site homemade ice cream shop.
And for a token to bring home I bought a Knight helm necklace. I AM A PRINCESS.

See? PRETTY huh?

Went for a stroll to Santa Rosa’s Wednesday Night Market with my roomie, Jake. Big crowds, fresh produce, food carts and we topped the evening with a stop in at the Russian River Brewery for some on tap Belgian beers.

I want to live in the land of churros!

I got a blond. It was amazingly delicious, almost like oatmeal tasting

Back outside before market close. Looking for deals as people close shop:

Jake swoops in on the bread lady. She cuts a great deal for us as she’s putting things away for the day:
